Supporting Organizations

bouldercounty_logoSocial Venture Partners of Boulder County (SVP) brings business experience and mentoring to the nonprofit community in Boulder County. Boulder Treasures has been the recipient of several grants of pro-bono consulting and professional development services from SVP to support our growth from initial concept development to successful launch of our apprentice program including developing the detailed business model of Ramble on Pearl. More recently, SVP has provided additional consulting support as we have navigated the challenges of Covid-19 and its impact on our operations plus guiding us through the process of maturing from a founders led board of directors to a governance focused board. dvr_logoColorado’s Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR) assists persons with disabilities to live as independently as possible through successful employment. For adults with IDD, because they often lack prior work experience or access to training that can help them succeed, their employment potential is commonly misunderstood or simply overlooked by potential employers. DVR understands this and supports Boulder Treasures individualized training program for qualified apprentices. DVR is united with Boulder Treasures in our commitment to provide employers with skilled, loyal, and hard working employees. LEARN MORE

Founded in 1966, Boulder Housing Partners (BHP) is the housing authority for the City of Boulder. BHP’s goal is to make living in Boulder possible and affordable, regardless of income. BHP is committed to fostering a healthy sense of community in every property they develop, not only providing homes, but also creating community and changing lives. In 2018, BHP invited Boulder Treasures to join them in creating an Independent Living Community for adults living with IDD as part of their 30Pearl Affordable Housing Project. This project will include 20 units specifically allocated to adults with IDD. With the support of BHP, Boulder Treasures will occupy a combination of retail, commercial and community spaces co-located with these apartments to allow for a capacity expansion of our apprentice program and provide community engagement services to the residents and their peers to support their connection with each other and their community.
